Who doesn’t like to binge watch a whole series of a television show? TV shows hold differently produced contents with a difference in genres, ages and actors, giving us so many options to choose from! Amidst of this calamity of a pandemic, TV shows have been our only constant. There’s a saying, “a friend in need is a friend indeed” which completely implies on TV shows because they didn’t only keep our minds straight while being trapped on our own home, it also gave us a new ray of hope for the new, coming day. Well, even though TV shows have our whole hearts, it is indeed a huge market for business. This market includes production houses, casting agencies, hairstylists and so many more! The global market for TV is estimated at US$315.7 Billion in the year 2020 and is predicted to reach a revised size of US$471.2 Billion by 2027 with a growth rate of 5.9% each year. It’s astounding how the market is booming over the years. Even though every tv show tries its best to have a global name, some fail. And some gets recognized by the whole world despite language barriers. 2. Stranger Things



The combo of horror, science fiction and thriller in this one series is just bewildering. In just 3 seasons, this show already cultivated millions of loyal viewers with its phenomenal plot.

It would’ve been unfair for all the Kdrama lovers if this series was not added in this list. The awareness of mental health is portrayed beautifully in this series, and the chemistry between the ever handsome, Kim Soo Hyun and the bewitching, Seo Ye-Ji was captivating than ever! This show is claimed to be the most popular show in Netflix of 2020 in South Korea.

Last but not the least, our favorite 90’s show, Friends. The six friends throbbed all our hearts with their silly remarks and lovely portrait of their characters. This series was nominated for 62 Primetime Emmy Awards, winning the Outstanding Comedy series award in 2002 for its 8th season. The show also ranked no. 21 on TV Guide’s 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time, and no. 7 on Empire magazine's The 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.
